Description

The Bohemia is defined by its deceptive materiality. At first glance, its translucent, colored exterior and rounded curves suggest a massive piece of Murano glass. However, because a glass piece of this size  would be dangerously heavy and fragile, it is crafted from rotomolded polycarbonate. It is the premier choice for architects looking to anchor high-ceilinged voids or large dining areas with a "visual weight" that remains physically manageable.

Two Volumes & Color-Neutral Light
Dual-Volume Silhouette: The design features a "pinch" in the middle, creating a concave and convex interplay that looks different from every angle.

The "White Interior" Secret: While the exterior comes in rich, translucent colors, the interior is always finished in matte white. This ensures that the light thrown downward remains a clean, high-CRI white, preventing "color bleed" onto your food or decor.

Translucent Glow: When illuminated, the outer shell glows with a soft, jewel-like hue, while the majority of the light is directed downward through an opal methacrylate diffuser (in the LED version).

Color Palette: The collection is anchored by Amber, Green, and Smoke (Violet). These tones are designed to complement the trend of "Warm Earth Minimalism."

Expert Recommendations
The "Floating Cloud" Entryway: Bohemia is one of the few single-pendant lights capable of filling a grand foyer without needing a multi-arm chandelier.

Over the Oversized Table: It is perfectly scaled for 8-to-10-foot dining tables. The Amber version, in particular, pairs beautifully with dark walnut or "scorched" oak surfaces trending.

The Commercial Statement: Its durable polycarbonate construction makes it a favorite for boutique hotel lobbies and high-end restaurants, where the look of luxury glass is desired without the liability of breakage in high-traffic areas.

Professional Buyer Guide
Is there a visible seam? Yes. Due to the complex rotomolding process required for the concave/convex shape, a subtle horizontal dividing line is inherent to the manufacturing. Marset considers this "imperfection" a unique fingerprint of the design.

Can it be cleaned easily? Yes. Polycarbonate is much more resilient than glass. A soft microfiber cloth and a mild plastic-safe cleaner are all that's needed to maintain its high-gloss finish.

Is it too heavy for a standard ceiling? At roughly 24 lbs, it is heavy but manageable. However, it is recommended to use a reinforced junction box or a direct ceiling mount into a joist for long-term safety.
